Ignition Interlock Device (IID) Installations

Court-Approved IID Installation in East Austin

If you’ve been ordered to install an ignition interlock device following a DWI conviction in Texas, Leos Service Station makes the process simple. Located at 1149½ Airport Blvd in Austin, we’re a certified IID installation center recognized by the Texas Department of Public Safety. Our technicians have years of experience installing interlock devices on all vehicle types—including electric vehicles, hybrids, trucks, and standard passenger cars.

An ignition interlock device, sometimes called a car breathalyzer, connects to your vehicle’s ignition system and requires a clean breath sample before the engine will start. Texas law may require IID installation for first-time DWI offenses, repeat offenses, or as a condition of obtaining an occupational (essential needs) license during a suspension period. All court-ordered installations must be performed by a DPS-certified service center—and Leos is one of them.
